I read the steam reviews, and so many of them are failing to see the narrative from outside their own views, only taking it at face value and not seeing it for the struggle trans men and women face under medical and therapeutic scrutiny.

I played on Itch. The steam review, discussions, and social tabs are where rational thought frequently goes to drown. The boards and reviews are full of hate and vitriol in so many different flavors. I don't think you should pay them much mind at all, even though it's hard to tune them out.
