My husband and I don’t have enough money for a down payment, but when we looked into buying we actually learned that our mortgage payment would actually be significantly lower than the rent we have to pay. So yes, many would be able to afford the mortgage payment.

Not all 35 million users on here are from the US. I’m in Canada for example. As much as I empathize with you guys and want those f*^kers gone I will definitely NOT travel to the US to be on the street protesting.

They never said it was. They said it sounds CLOSE ENOUGH. As someone who is a native German speaker & has had friends that speak Afrikaans I can attest that it does sound very similar. I can understand a lot of the words. Non German/Dutch/Afrikaans speaking people won’t really know the difference.
