Yep. Tori's debut, with 'Me & a Gun': the timing was uncanny for me as an 18 year old dealing with (I know in retrospect) more than one abusive relationship. That Tori is still working and very much part of my life, while those a***holes are just bad memories, I'm grateful for that.

Confession: I obsess over their Super Shock Shadows. I follow someone on Instagram who has every single one, and I have about 3/4 of them. 😅 I've never watched "My Strange Addiction" but maybe I belong on it.

He was famous quite a few years before he was, so if anything Gaiman "boosted" Tori. They hadn't met when she released 'Tear In Your Hand's with the "Me and Neil'll be/Hanging out with the dream king" line.
I'm not a Gaiman fan outside of Sandman, but lots were fans of both, which must be awful.

Mantel was such an amazing writer. I know she was more famous for her historical fiction (eg 'Wolf Hall') but this memoir is an absolute banger *and* her novel 'Beyond Black', is, I think, one of the best, most frightening literary horror novels of the century...so far. 💜

I'm strictly on a low-buy this year (we can only imagine what's going to happen with $AUD - $USD, but I make an exception for CP Super Shock shadows. They're just...so cute. So I did already get the New Moon ones - glad there's no SSs in this release.
