I'm sure it'll do fine as far as most games go, but it's definitely not going to live up to the unreasonable expectations its suits have set up for it.
I don't think it'll affect the industry when it fails to meet expectations, though; I think it's more likely to drop and just be ignored.

So the indie game Look Outside is definitely a 2020 lockdown allegory, right? You're stuck in your building for 2 weeks, and the news and social media still talk about mundanities early on? I'm surprised I haven't found a sourdough starter yet lol

This game is decidedly not as good as its two prequels, but when its POV changing is good it's really good, and initially serves to increase a lot of tension and mystery.

The problem with Fire Emblem: Three Houses is, on a whim, I chose the POV which essentially boils down to "racism bad, war bad, let's use strategy to unite everyone," so it's been hard to go back and choose any other route... 😅
