Hi snazzy! I’ve seen a bunch of your posts, recently many in Japan, and I was wondering if I could ask you for some advice. Specifically related to both language and your experience in Japan as my partner and I are going to be going in 2027. Do you mind if I message you peas?

When we’re in a desperate and hopeless feeling position it’s hard to make the right decisions with the help we’re given. Provide food, warmth, a hand to hold, an ear to listen to their story. Too often we dehumanize those who need someone who cares more than anything else, even just for a moment.

I’ve had heaps of good experiences sharing fresh food with those less fortunate than myself. I used to work for a nonprofit substance abuse clinic (in/out patient programs and counseling), and with the most respect and love, I would not give money. I would find out what they need and provide it.
