"Oh, you had no idea, did you?" He chuckles, nuzzling his nose into the soft fur at the base of one ear. "Then I suppose I shall just have to remind you more often."

He chuckles and presses a gentle kiss to the top of her head. "I seem to recall telling you as much, boku no hisui."

He chuckles. "I'm...rather surprised at that, but then, he wasn't involved often with affairs here in Doma. He left that to Yotsuyu and her subordinates." He smiles warmly. "I will have to see if I am still free of my duties then."

"Kami forefend. You will be the death of me," he mutters under his breath. "You simply said kitten, so I thought you meant the small and adorable kind that grows up to catch mice...not baby murdermittens like as not to bring home an entire chicken."

On cue, a loud squawk echoes through the enclave.

He froze. "Wait...Dian, please tell me you did not lose a COEURL CUB in the Enclave..." He pinched the bridge of his nose. "I thought you were talking about a housecat...."

A knowing smile grows on his face. "Ah... Well, you should know that most village cats aren't usually trained so much as left to roam, and loved...and fed...enough that they come home."

He smiles contentedly and nods. "I'm glad to hear it." He ours her a cup of tea and passes it over. "So, what brings you to Doma today, K'lyhhia?"

"I am enjoying the break, and I thought to take the time and enjoy the gardens for a change." He gave her a playful wink. "It offers a delightful change of scenery from the bedroom, and Yugiri was telling me just the other day that I should get some fresh air."

He smiles. "How is her new business doing? We occasionally get shipments of her armor and clothing as well as orders for silks and other textiles, so I can not help but wonder if her wares do as well other places as here."

Wake you? Perish the thought. I'd simply crawl in next to you and snuggle.

He nods, a grin on his face. "Hai, I can imagine Archon Thancred does not generally like to stay in one place overlong, and the twins seem to constantly be on the move." A memory springs to mind and his expression softens a bit. "That is...when they aren't asleep."

He blushes a bit and takes another sip of his matcha. "A-a-adorable? I've heard Handsome before, even rugged and gallant, but I admit that being called adorable as an adult is...something of a new experience."

He chuckles, the sound warm and rich. "I am certain someone is surprised to see they are short a little fuzzy ball of mischief." His eyes close as he sips his tea. "I am given to understand that some cats are raised for contests in Eorzea. Perhaps that's why it was being sold instead of given away."

He looks up from his tea and raises an eyebrow at her clear implication. But, he was rather enjoying the garden and his tea, and was in no rush to relinquish either. However, the food was making his mouth water.

"Darling, there is a seat right here. In fact, there is room for us all. Do join me."
