Amateur artist, comic book movie nerd, owns way too many 1/6th scale action figures of superheroes
Not that I’d put any version of Rocket at one of the top spots in my collection but my obsessive ass is close to owning every single version of Rocket and building up a whole arsenal of guns.

Honorable mention goes to Deadpool. Definitely some quality control issues on this guy, but I’ll be damned if I thought he wasn’t pretty cool regardless #deadpool #deadpoolandwolverine

And technically not even Jinx would have the whole breadth of the situation. As far as I can tell, the only way Ekko could’ve gotten up to speed would be through Jayce and Vi

To me the issue with that is how would even know what’s wrong with Jinx? He knows she’s depressed because of a loss, but last time he saw her she was crazy blowing things up. Plus if it was Jinx calling him to action, why would she suddenly care when she didn’t before?

…where to find her.

…Jayce the first person he saw when he got back.
I’ve seen some people wonder how he’d know where Jinx would be, thinking that the Z-Drive just dropped him off right there at that moment, but Jinx’s hide out is also alt-Powder’s hide out. It wouldn’t be that much of a reach if nobody else knew…

…help her. Putting those two things together, my headcanon would be that he’d have to have met up with the main group first before confronting Jinx. He left via the anomaly at the core of the Hexgate, presumably that would be where the Z-Drive dropped him back off at which would probably make…

…to emphasize how not true that first impression was. Like she makes bombs for him, sure, but Vi herself was encouraging her, calling that her strength in a fight. The only difference is none of her bombs worked when she was a kid.

…Jinx like a daughter. I think a lot of people get hung up on how intentionally creepy their dynamic looks in their first scene together, but really that was only intended to put us in the same headspace as Vi when she finds out he’d been raising her. But every scene following that was supposed…

…about any of his goals. He didn’t make Jinx. He just let her be who she already was.
A lot can be said for how that’s bad parenting and that you shouldn’t be enabling your kid’s worst impulses and how he’s certainly a villain in other ways, but fact of the matter is all he ever does is dote on…

…subordinates. She *is* a liability but he doesn’t care because that’s his daughter. And even her persona as Jinx. He wants her to be like him, vindictive against Vi like he is of Vander, and directing their anger towards their goals of effectively running Zaun, but she explicitly does not care…

…that she’s his enforcer and he’s intentionally inciting violence but what we as an audience are supposed to get is that, that isn’t the reality. Nobody, including him, wants her out in the streets enforcing for him. He just never says no to her and he always excuses her actions to his…

…come contrary to his actual plans. Dude plans a low profile drug shipment, she turns it into a firefight that gets one of his henchmen arrested. Dude wants to let things blow over, she causes a terrorist attack at a major event that kills 6 cops. There’s this impression the other characters have…

I’ll keep this vague because I don’t want to spoil it for people, but the way Arcane’s story plays out by the end, I feel like they gave themselves an out for this to not need to be the canon present in the games even if it’s tied to that canon.

…Season 1 had this forward momentum the whole way through with the parallel plots coalescing in a way that felt earned whereas Season 2 felt like it was struggling to tie everything together. But at the same time beat for beat I love what season 2’s story gave us.
