Great theme, for inspiration I always envision the skill it would take to pilot a machine like these, especially in alternate timeline where they were invented long ago, tried a ww1core aesthetic for these.

I've always wondered if we will ever conquer that old scifi trope of being a true space faring race.
I think it will happen. Not in my lifetime, and maybe not in the next. But another 200-300 years time?
I think we will be looking beyond our own system for a true new home for humanity.
