Not sure about this new Fahrenheit 451 remake. Rather than burning books, they've banned sick burns. It's a disstopia.

So, I am always grateful for a movie trailer that gives me something to look forward to. And, of course, I'll always have Tom King's, and Bilquis Evely gorgeously colorful space adventure.

Now, having seen the teaser trailer, I am once more, hopeful. Not that any movie should be tailored to my particular taste. But stories, and movies in particular, have a huge impact on me. Ever since I was a kid, watching Empire Strikes Back and Gremlins in the theaters.

This allowed King to turn Kara Zor-El into Reuben J. "Rooster" Cogburn, and Woman of Tomorrow into a space-based True Grit. So, naturally, when I heard the director had inserted a certain Czarnian as a way to please a ticket-selling celebrity, I feared for the movie's plot.

Tom King's Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is one of my favorite comic stories of all time. But released stories are never as they were initially conceptualized. King's original draft featured a famously "edgy" 90s character, but removing him from the story was his best choice.

Of course, I am talking about the first part of the movie, where Harvey Dent hasn't turned yet.

For TDK, my enjoyment used to revolve around Heath Ledger's performance and Christopher Nolan's monumental direction. But this time, I was fascinated by Aaron Eckhart's Harvey Dent. The archetype of a competent and responsible man. Something I feel I am lacking recently (thank you, job market).

I rewatch movies a lot. That pic is from The Dark Knight, one of my favorites. It's funny how your experience of a story changes depending on what you are going through at the time.

Movie watching is clearly a cat family activity.
