I got to see my second comet in a year, comet lemmons is just barely visible in the darkest part of town. I’m glad we had clear skies so I could see it.

✨Found a favorite going thru photos from our Lapland northern lights camp roadtrip. Started in Rovaniemi, drove Sweden looking for clear sky, ended up driving the whole coast Bodø to Skibotn, thru Alta to Nourgam, up to Vardø, down to Utsjoki, inari & back to Rovaniemi! We saw aurora most nights✨

Had fun at the 29th annual condor release day at Vermillion Cliffs National Monument for public lands day. Was worried the event would be canceled but it all worked out. Only got to see #1254 leave the pen though but look forward to spotting them all in the wild soon.✨🪽

From hikes around Cedar Breaks last weekend. I’d been out of town for a while so no time for hiking or camping.

Very sad to learn about the loss of the historic north rim lodge. It was one of my favorite places to visit. I’m thankful no one has been injured or worse, but still sad about the north rim structures. Currently worrying about the white sage fire as well that is huge and very close to town.

✨day 3 of camping and hiking. This one really pushed the limits of my heat tolerance, so I’ll come back when it cools down.✨

✨Back again this time by myself: the weather is perfect yet the park seems emptier than other holiday weekends. A bout 5 miles yesterday and 7.5 hikes today. One more big hike left before I head home if I can manage to get out before it gets too hot.✨

✨Was feeling a huge lack of confidence about hiking on my own so decided to camp at Zion and do the Narrows. It’s the first time I’ve done the hike to big springs alone. My timing was good that most of the hike I was by myself to enjoy everything. I really hope to do the top down eventually✨

Took the day off to join a friend at Bryce. Thankful to be out there but frustrated that things did not go as planned

Sunday’s hike before the wind changed direction and it got to smoky. The weather was perfect but due to the smoke I didn’t complete the hike. I hope to go back before summer ends to finish it. Really amazing Cretaceous rock textures and an awesome arch.

Consider reaching out to the senators writing a comment here or calling! The land Senator Lee is planning to sell so much land around the state and especially around Zion, Kanab, and Short Creek. It’s disgusting. Please share suwa.quorum.us/campaign/126...
