Conference 2025: ✅

Our team are having a well-deserved rest, but we wanted to thank our friends at @labourleftint.bsky.social and @labour4transrights.bsky.social for letting us speak at their events!

Until next year!

Today, we take a stand. Democracy must mean everyone. Join us at The Wheel of Liverpool at 3:30pm ✊

We're taking the fight to Conference ✊ Who's with us?
September 26, 2025 at 4:28 PM
We're heading to Labour Conference! Here's where you'll find Pride in Labour over the next few days 👇
September 26, 2025 at 9:00 AM
At 3:30pm on Saturday 27th, we will be rallying at the Wheel of Liverpool to protest against the Labour Party's decision to cancel the Women's Conference. It must be reinstated, and it must be trans and non-binary inclusive. Details below 👇

57% of our members voted to not endorse any candidate, with 43% voting to endorse Lucy Powell. Out of the members who voted in the ballot, 0% voted for Bridget Phillipson.
September 16, 2025 at 4:03 PM
Our members have had their say - and Pride in Labour is not endorsing any candidate for the Labour Party deputy leadership. It's obvious that the threshold to run in internal election is leaving members with poor choices to vote for.
September 16, 2025 at 4:03 PM
Last but not least, we have Alex Charilaou, the Co-Chair of @labour4transrights.bsky.social and a fantastic force for good within the Labour movement.
August 29, 2025 at 9:01 AM
Next up is Cllr. @georgiameadows.bsky.social, the current trans officer for @LGBTLabour. Despite setbacks within LGBT+ Labour, she has always remained an unstoppable force and fierce voice.
August 29, 2025 at 9:01 AM
We are delighted to welcome Cllr. @kazself.bsky.social, a Labour Councillor in Bristol and a powerful trans voice within the Labour Party.
August 29, 2025 at 9:00 AM
Next is @averygreatorex.bsky.social, who is the Co-Chair of Pride in Labour, an officer at the University of Lancashire Students’ Union and a fierce trans rights activist.
August 29, 2025 at 9:00 AM
First up is @jamiestrudwick.bsky.social, founder and Co-Chair of Pride in Labour. He has a decade of experience in activism and a professional background in health and social care.

We are pleased to announce the panel for our Labour Party Conference event which will take place on the 30th of September at 4:30pm at Liverpool Central Library.

Yesterday, we went to the #LGBTLabour social which was held in place of its postponed AGM. There's a lot to reflect on. But one thing is clear: LGBT+ Labour isn't working. In place of action, we got small talk. In place of democracy, we got spin. This isn't working.
July 20, 2025 at 1:12 PM
In one hour from now, #LGBTLabour was due to have their AGM. Instead, they decided to deny members the choice of who they want to lead the fight for equality, solidarity, and justice. They have questions to answer. The @transalliance.bsky.social will continue this fight.

To everyone who stood with us in this past year: thank you.
To those in power who tried to ignore us: we're not going anywhere.

Year 2 begins now - louder, bolder, more united than ever. 🌹✊🏳️‍⚧️ 🏳️‍🌈
July 14, 2025 at 8:01 PM
On the 14th of July, we will celebrate our one year anniversary. So, we want to take a moment to explain why #LGBTLabour is not fit for purpose and why we created Pride in Labour 🧵 👇 (1/9)

Last month, we delivered a petition to Downing Street, carrying the voices and stories of so many in our community. Behind every signature was a life, a struggle, and a demand for dignity. We won't stop until we're heard. #PrideInLabour #OneYearIn

We want to say a huge congratulations to our amazing co-chair @averygreatorex.bsky.social on her graduation day. We’re all incredibly proud of her!
July 10, 2025 at 2:48 PM
One of our proudest moments was being among the first organisations to get involved in the trans rights demo this April where 25,000 people showed up in solidarity. We don't just talk about trans rights - we organise for them ✊🏳️‍⚧️ #PrideInLabour #OneYearIn

#LGBTLabour needs change.

🛑 It's too London-centric.
🛑 It's been silent when it mattered.
🛑 It's not working for trans people.

We're running to build something better - bold, inclusive, better. DM us for more information!

Another milestone for Pride in Labour - three of our Executive Committee are standing for the #LGBTLabour committee on the 19th of July. We're building power within the Labour Party ✊
July 7, 2025 at 11:33 AM
In total, we've had 15 people join our Executive Committee. We currently have ten amazing people and we are grateful to each and every person for the time they have put in to building our movement. #PrideInLabour #OneYearIn
July 5, 2025 at 3:44 PM
Our first Executive Committee election took place at the end of July 2024, and our second took place earlier this year. Both took place virtually because it's vital that democracy is accessible. #PrideInLabour #OneYearIn
