re: prior frustration with ai and uninspired slop, i love what people are doing in the kink/fetish spaces purely because you -know- they're out there fixated on something that's personal and has a vision, because it's the sort of thing that scratches a specific itch. it's niche in a great way.

well-trodden point by now but i find it hard to wrap my head around the defense of gen ai being "filler content" and "unimportant dialogue" when i would consider the presence of something simultaneously extraneous and adding nothing to either the overarching plot or the characters to just be a flaw
