I was sexually abused from 7 to 13, by my stepfather. I'm 59 now.The damage to my life has been broad and devastating. It changed the young woman, I would have been. I carried shame, fear and sadness. I've cried for that lost little girl. I can never change what happened. Predators are Evil, not me.

We are now watching the potential birth of a surveillance system. I'm disgusted and completely outraged over the current circumstances of Trump. He wants to pit Americans against each other. Do everything to prevent this kind of manipulation! Be smart and push the fuck back peacefully! No king!!!!!

In my lifetime I'm watching everything I believed the United States to be, become tainted and completely obliterated. By a man with no conscience, no honor and no ability to do anything but create misery. I'm poor and will remain so. I refuse to fall in line of a facist regime and it's craven crowd.

The main reason he will do this? Public television is a vehicle for poor people, to learn about the world. I should know.I grew up very poor in Las Vegas. My parents were abusive and cruel. However, thru PBS I saw A different world. A world of books, culture and creativity. It gave me a start.
