Get ambitious, look for somethng like an art piece you feel is out of your skill range and try making it anyway. The one who asks is never lost and what are friends for if not asking for help.

Luckily I have only seen somehing similar to what I described in a couple of comics, a certain kind of detachment from the characters about how inhuman their actions are and such care put into showing off just how much the tinies suffer that made it all just sad.

It can easily cross into territory where its just really depressing to follow. Cruel and meaningless deaths can be sexy to me but only if the humanity of the tinies and the psychological affects of witnessing and going trough this absolute horror is just never focused on too much.

The smaller they get the closer the story turns into existential / survival horror.
