L'unica strategia vincente (non necessariamente giusta) può essere superare in populismo gli stessi populisti, oppure attendere che il populismo di destra vada in cortocircuito, come forse adesso in USA.

è peggio di così: semplicemente adesso giocano a poliziotto buono e cattivo. Uno taglia le tasse ai super ricchi, l'altro chiede di tagliare ancora di più la spesa pubblica.

risposta necessariamente complessa, se proprio devo riassumere in un commento: ammettere che esiste il problema, poi ripartire dai valori fondanti, etica prima dell'economia, ricostruire la fiducia nella classe dirigente tramite regole di "accountability" chiare.

Ok ma Donald è un sintomo, non la causa. L'Occidente è malato e deve andare in terapia altrimenti spuntano Donald, AfD, Farage etc come funghi.

this is especially true for most of the western world center-left (the center-right has been cannibalized by the far right), yet I get the feeling that most non-extremist people are still shocked and refuse to accept reality. I hope people like Sander-AOC are able to trigger them.

I agree it's a good thing but I also feel like it's almost a side project for the libdems. It's like the big names are expending those two waiting for something else to happen.
