sometimes people wanna take time to do nothing! if you have the means to manage an employment gap of a year or more, could that not imply at least AN amount of strong resource management skills? if nothing else, a strong social support network that only exists (presumably) b/c you don’t suck ass!

Portrait was the one assigned book in HS that I didn’t finish. I’m not confident I made it past page 40 or so. Truly despised. Especially when it came on the heels of The Sound & the Fury (loved!!!).
