I've seen some surprised reactions that Donkey Kong: Bananza got nominated for GOTY. I JUST picked it up this last week and I gotta say: if Expedition 33 didn't release this year, Bananza would 100% be my GOTY. The game is an absolute treat and deserves the nomination at the very least.

Maybe there's some nuance I don't fully understand. But Expedition 33 has brought forth a slew self-proclaimed "hobby screenshot artists." And from my perspective, it comes across as AI-adjacent rhetoric as in "Here's something already beautiful made by someone else that I'd also like credit for."

I wish more scalpers knew they were just straight up bad people. Pokemon Cards? Game consoles? Concert tickets? Whatever it is, you're "making a living" out of inconveniencing and depriving others of things they enjoy. All scalpers suck.

Something I REALLY appreciate in Monster Hunter is how Palicos aren't JUST cute or comedic relief. Your partner is often a very competent, brave, and well-honed hunter in their own right. I'm loving in Wilds how they are your truly your companion in arms and pull off some badass shit in the story.

Something I REALLY appreciate in Monster Hunter is how Palicos aren't JUST cute or comedic relief. Your partner is often a very competent, brave, and well-honed hunter in their own right. I'm loving in Wilds how they are your truly your companion in arms and pull off some badass shit in the story.
I doubt they'll ever see this, but creator Gandalf (RA-0707-9226-0049) may be one of the best and most creative people on Animal Crossing Happy Home Paradise. Their designs are so creative and fun, and have so much passion put into them. I'd recommend anyone check them out.

I am happy to say I'm finally getting REALLY into Brothership and enjoying it a ton. 6-10 hours seems like a bit too long to get to the "good part" tho. But now that I'm at that good part, it is REALLY good.
