I'm at the age now where the urge to be curmudgeony and cynical about modern frontend web development comes very natural to me. Are there support groups for this?

Holy wow, as underwhelmed as I was with aider (even w/ Claude 3.7) I'm equally as overwhelmed with Claude Code. It's so good, actually! Remains to be seen if the honeymoon wears off as is wont to do with these, but so far, so impressed. It sure gets expensive though.

My best guess for this platform is that it becomes another centralized Twitter-like service just for a different audience.

The decentralization promises are great, but not enough progress has been made and the temptation to forgo them will become increasingly tempting over time.
