Yeah it can be frustrating :(

Especially if you just want to get back to your projects and use your computer without fuss. but its super worth it imo

I fully switched a year ago and it took me like... a month maybe to be fully comfortable again, and only had downtime for a week or so

Mattkc's forum has a pretty decent guide for running premiere natively (forum.mattkc.com/viewtopic.ph...)

Winboat runs really well in my experience but its super heavy resource wise (running a Windows VM)

the slow and painful process to Linux native applications might be ideal in the long run

Linux is not windows so there quite a bit of a learning curve, however any Distro should work. (I personally use any arch flavor such as EndeavorOS or CachyOS as they really arent hard to use anymore and easy to set up)

As for premiere and PS i would take a look at using wine or winboat
