Very cool commander and very cool build, though Lay of the Land and functional reprints are still garbage. Reclaim the Waste is strictly better. I would personally run Generous Ent or Oliphaunt instead (closest thing to staples in pauper commander imo), or even just an extra basic.

Which ever ones had reveillark combo and 5 color control as T1 decks 15 years ago or so!

Wurms > Hydras as iconic green creatures is a hill I am willing to die on!

I ran the numbers, and as long as your game last more than 6 turns, phyrexian will draw you on average more cards than divination (about 2.5 cards), and it only gets better the longer your games last

It's very weird that commander player usually focus on the card ceiling when evaluating cards but for phyrexian arena they consider only it's absolute floor.

The deck is bit more high power so the other ones are less "fun", meaning Spore Frog lock and Shire I for redundancy.

But an other cool synergie around an other aura pet card of mine in the deck is Scream from Within + Doomwake Giant

This synergy was the actual inspiration for a Tormod Abzan enchantress deck! One of my favorite interaction!

Half a life time ago this was a standard deck if I recall correctly. I think this is what got me hooked into the game.
