Untrue, I don't have insurance and my last eye exam was around $80. I got frames and lenses for about $150, so all in it cost me about $230.

You can get an eye exam for under 100 bucks if you go to a retailer like America's Best or Lens Crafters. You can get a cheap pair for less than that if you get basic plastic lenses and non-designer frames.

I haven't, but a friend of mine has tried a few of their different pickles and she loves them.
