Grayndler is full of a bunch of rusted ons that are all in love with Albo. No matter what he does they would still gleefully vote for him unfortunately.

And this is why I put it to the government to ban social media for everyone (/s)

If an incident does occur from this fervour I doubt the courts are going to charge "User9373829" with a non identifying profile pic for incitement, not when there are hundreds, if not thousands of users like him spreading the same hate.

And there's very little in the way of monitoring and accountability
December 16, 2025 at 6:57 AM
And thanks to social media racists who would otherwise be absolute nobodies can spread their message out further than they ever could before
December 16, 2025 at 6:57 AM
And we still have key figures like Hanson and Sky news, but I think we have more decentralised networks of racists egging each other on
December 16, 2025 at 6:56 AM
But back then we could point to Alan Jones and say "you, you riled up these racists and incited hatred"

Like we didn't really learn anything after the Cronulla riots, and 20 years on that is evident

I tried to search to see who'd do such a thing, couldn't find it. I don't know whether to hope that it was someone spreading disinformation to smear the hero, because that is also a pretty shitty thing to do...

I guess the risk is Labor cuts a deal with the Libs instead, which they frequently do, and make this even worse for the environment.

And Labor also gets a chance to cry to the media that the Greens are obstructionist, even though this change is worse than the status quo. So much for progress

While the conditions of most fast fashion brands are going to be pretty similar, shein operates on a scale beyond many others. The number of designs they push out easily swamp other fast fashion brands. It's hard to compare actual volume due to lack of transparency, but it's probably similar.

This can be read as dismissive, but Trump was inspired in part by Australia's anti-refugee policies, and Mahmood inspired by Trump. We are somewhat ground zero of what is "permissible"

Wow, this is somehow my first time seeing a post by the AJA. I feel there's a strong correlation between how early you use the term "woke" derogatorily and how deeply fried your brain is.

I'm not in the UK but the new greens leader (Zack Polanski) is doing a stellar job imo. The question of viability depends on if they get the people power.

I have submitted a complaint. My first! That interview was shocking

IDF says the breach was crossing the yellow line. Palestinian Civil Defence say the victims were in a safe zone. Given the track record, I know who I'm more likely to believe.

Lots of defence of the club in this article, but a key point made at the end.

"The Centre for Public Integrity’s executive director, Catherine Williams, said the club offered 'an invaluable opportunity for monied interests to build relationships with members of parliament and their staff'."

It's previously been announced that GitHub would be included, and now they say 4chan won't be?

Yeah when we say suburb it's closer to what the US calls a neighbourhood, it's not necessarily referring to THE suburbs. Idk why we decided to do it differently

Yes, for a while, but the tone of the Harbour bridge + nation wide marches was different (except newscorp).

I've seen many posts from people in Gaza thanking people in Australia for marching for them. That it gives them hope and the strength to keep going. It does matter

I have seen the shift in the mainstream media. They report on us now, where for years they hadn't.

And I always believe, even if it achieves no change, we show the people in Gaza our efforts, that we are trying, and that we have not abandoned them. That to me is worth it.
