Finally putting together a 70s-style homebrew microcomputer.
I have all the chips (plus RAM!) needed to implement the Z80 manual's minimal system:
2MHz oscillator, Sharp Z80 CPU, Atmel EEPROM, Sharp Z80-PIO, and Cypress SRAM.
Just ordered some Ben Eater-recommended breadboards for experiments.

Realized my motivation to finish my kitchen timer had hit nil, since I got a Pixel watch and that became my kitchen timer. Making this nifty display into an NTP-driven clock instead.

Got my first real oscilloscope. Literally the lowest end Tektronix line, but it's a real brand new Tektronix. And it'll meet my needs for projects I have in mind.
