I wish there was a developed chain of supply of clothes too ruined to be sold, from vintage and thrift stores to home sewists and upcyclers. I know cast-offs go to rag houses but I'd love to be able to access some of the fabrics, zippers etc.

I was just reading about how to handsew buttonholes...if done with silk thread, are you finding they stand up over time?

I don't think most folks realize how tough it is to run a vintage biz, what with only being able to list one inventory item at a time. But your online reach continues to grow, which can only help! Hopefully business picks up as summer approaches and supports more help!

Not quite enough on its own, though I wish it was - prearranging a job here is the one of the "easier" routes. You'd need more warm clothes than you have at present, I suspect! 🙂
