Having people dependent on government services to live makes them more compliant out of fear of hunger and not having a place to sleep at night cows people into silence and acceptance. Welfare is really a tool of control and a way to transfer wealth to billionaires by replacing paychecks that Wal-Mart and other companies would have to pay with welfare checks from the government allowing billionaires to pocket livable wages just to by an 8th yacht or a 12th mansion - cause that is what is important in AmeriKKKa.
