Yes, there are definitely unsafe, unhealthy churches and churches that, relatively speaking, are safer. But there are no churches where we can stop watching, stop being careful, stop keeping our eyes open on guard for wolves. That doesn't exist this side of heaven.

On Thursday, the Central Florida Presbytery held a special meeting to share the report of the Judicial Commission's trial of Burk Parsons. The Judicial Commission unanimously found him guilty on three charges and unanimously voted to suspend him from the office of teaching elder.

Yes, there is a limited amount of time to file a complaint after a specific action of a session or to file an appeal after a church court makes a ruling.

But there is no such thing as abuse that happened too long ago to be addressed just because of the passage of time. Nope.
