Some members of a clade of birds that are born with nearly fully formed wing muscles and flight feathers. They are abundant in open habitats, with some species (such as the third from the left) numbering in the hundreds of millions or even low billions of individuals.

More musings: my style atm is line art creatures and lineless everything else, like those seen here. Now I’m uncertain if this style would work well in a book, especially one with buildings and tables and such. I suck at drawing straight lines though. Much to consider.

The problem: I want to scale down the slashdragon, one of the main species in my setting, but I really like the drawing I did for it, and I don’t want to redo it.
The solution: lasso tool.
