I'd say it's not necessary, but I remember a time when I felt uncomfortable with it. I'm sure people appreciate it, but I wouldn't do it purely to avoid upsetting anyone... They can toughen up. It's just art.

It's fun to explore what the chat bot is programmed to say. From a programming and hacking standpoint, I agree. But again, there is no human involved. It's an automatic bot that is having thousands of conversations. It is functionally hold music.

It was probably an AI chat bot. The only thing that's worth doing is getting it to send you payment links. The more you get, the more you can report.

Honestly, split-phase is genius from a safety standpoint. Putting the ground potential in the center of the 240v means you can only receive a 120v shock from ground faults, while still having 240v!

Coincidentally, this afternoon I got to service a particularly rare system. 240V Delta "grounded B" known as the "electrician killer!" The danger is a combination of novelty, and deceiving use of 120/240V 1ϕ hardware. At a quick glance, especially with its "white" B phase, it looks like 120/240!

120/240V 1ϕ split is most common for households.

120/208v 3ϕ wye is most common for multi-family dwellings.

120/208/240 3ϕ delta center tap "high leg" is rare, but in some households!

Other transformers are seen in commercial applications. 240V Delta for motors, 277/480v wye for lighting.

All American households actually have 240V, similar to Europe!

You are absolutely right. Conviction is far healthier than vitriol. Filtering your observations through rational thought, and deciding how you want to proceed, is never a fault. It's almost imperative. The alternative is thoughtlessly reacting to everything, for immediate emotional release.

You know how fast I'd find the aux cord? I will play the forbidden music.

I absolutely love the word "Y'all!" How else are you supposed to address a group? German has "Sie!"
