For those who won't watch it at Bell Center October 11th, the bookshop/bar I work for will host Rachel Reid, author of Heated Rivalry (among others), where Habs and Bruins captains are secret lovers. We'll project the game, and she'll comment / live react.

The opponent hadn't touch the puck yet, so if one wants to be anal about the wording of the rule, he wasn't in possession and any check on him is illegal. Inapplicable rule, if you ask me but, still...

You mean I've saved all my money for this Alabaster Jar full of expensive perfume, and had it ready just in time for the week before Easter, and I can't even annoint Demidov with it? What a waste! Now I'll have to sell it and give the money to the poor.

But that, even if we encourage her to value others' views, be humble and open-minded towards others' ideologies (even conservatism), she (as others) had the right to be treated with dignity and respect.

So we wouldn't let her attend events under the care of parents we didn't 100% trust would.

We explained to her that she had the right to befriend other kids, even if we don't share the same beliefs / values / ideologies as their parents.

That kids aren't responsible of their socialization, and that she and her friends would shape their owns world views while growing up.

At daycare, all the friends of our daughter had conservative parents, but most were 1st gen immigrants from less liberal countries.

We had to teach her the subtelties of intersectionality & tolerance, while assuming our values. I still toned down a notch my queerness as to not isolate my kid.

Let's hope we meet each other in the Eastern Conference Finals.

To be fair, Habs won 7 in a row in 2021's playoffs. Coming back from 3-1 against TOR to sweeping WPG.
