The minimum wage is a disaster because its increases are closing the gap to those in job which pay just above min wage. Thus those job are devalued to minimum wage jobs. Its already happened in my work where a certain job level got a bigger increase than the rest of us. It not acceptable to many

James the whole flags on street lights is a learned behaviour from the North of Ireland. Where Irish people who think they are British put flags up in a similar manner.
Strangely they have no desire to live in Britain put prefer to squat in Ireland.

Labour have raised income tax too. Freezing the allowance and banding raises 8 billion a year more. That's ordinary working people falling into higher rate or pushed over allowance by the very pay increases they need to sustain them. Labour lies every day
