I want to say this thread not meant as a jab at people who didn't realize a pic is edited. It's for educational purposes, for people who want to learn to recognize edits. It's me using my autism ability of being able to tell a photo looks "wrong" when it's AI... for the fandom's benefit, hopefully?
🧵 Okay, here's a couple of examples of AI/remini edited pics of the Tannies I've seen over the past days, to maybe help people recognize them better.

when i say vminkook are 2 big puppies and a loving but strict owner, i mean that jm sits across from them when eating so he can easily keep an eye on both of them

tbh as someone who has no irl friend circle, only acquaintance level connections and struggles with building lasting connections irl, Im often running into this problem of not wanting to share that I write fic (fear of judgment) but also if I can’t talk abt my hobbies then connecting further is hard
I’m curious: if you write or read fanfic, how open are you about it with non-fandom people in your life?
(Whether you talk about it or keep it a secret, absolutely no judgement here. As I’ve said, I’m just curious)

Begging people to start paying attention so you can tell what these edited pics look like, because I've seen a shit-ton of them over the past few days. Run a reverse image search if you're not sure, it will find similar photos so you can check if the one you're about to post is original or edited.
