Can echo that Elite exists, although stability may be iffy for a couple days since they're doing a big update right now. Alternatively there's the X series, which is kind of Eve Offline. X3 Terran Conflict and X3 Albion Prelude are older, while X Rebirth is considered the "bad" game of the family.
