7/12/2024 - I don't believe in doing things 'small' 😉 This experimental protein skimmer is about 5'6", going 75 lpm, and 10 gpm at 0 head height. The escape valve is about 70% open, I'll need to play with it to get the water pressure/air/bubble mix correct, BUT it does look like its going to work.

7/18/2024 - Neighbors had their fence power washed yesterday, and when I asked about chemicals, they told me it was just water. They DIDN'T tell me was they were going to spray stain the fence *today.* This is LETHAL to fish. If neighbors plan on doing something like this, *cover your pond*

8/19/2024 -Pleased to announce that Ghost's antibiotics and wet bandage seem to have worked! And yes those ARE playmat squares 😃 The koi destroy any floating plants because of ennui, the playmats give them a sense of security and a place to hide at the top of their world. Looks silly, works great 😀

8/25/2024 - "Every creature has its time, and he lived just as long as he was supposed to." August was rough. Friday morning, Al the Giant Koi passed away 😭 We buried him where he will never be disturbed and will always be honored ❤️ We survive and keep moving ever forward.

9/17/2024 -Minor update: Ghost is back to full health! The antibiotics and wet bandage took a while to work, but got her in hand last week and the injury healed plus the bandage wore off on its own as expected! Ghost's beautiful tail is back to normal. I hope you're all doing well ❤️
