116 Greenland W'fronts at W. Freugh this p.m., 2 neck-collared birds. 6 juvs seen (inc. 3 in one family), but there may have been more - one group of 18 birds was feeding in a dip, and while counting them was straightforward, ageing them was less so. @dgbirdnews.bsky.social @kanebrides.bsky.social

252 Pale-bellied Brents on Loch Ryan nr. Stranraer today. Only 8 juvs (2 families with 4 in each). Also c180 Scaup, a couple of Slav. Grebes, LtDuck, C Scoters, lots of GCGrebes, Goldeneye etc @dgbirdnews.bsky.social

SAFC Academy pools, yesterday a.m. - lots of Migrant Hawkers, also 1 Southern and 1 m. B-t Skimmer, 1 Y Wag, 1 Swift. Volucella zonaria in the garden plus 1 S Hawker and a f Common Blue (2nd of the year - good for here).

6 Casps at Cottenham Long Drove this p.m. (2 2cy, 3 3cy, 1 4cy, 2 yellow-ringed but too far away to read), plus 35+ michs inc a juv and several adults. The first time I've been. It was great, loads of birds.

My first visit to Frampton RSPB. What a great site - and really straightforward to work. Highlights - Curlew Sand., 11 Spotted Red., 2 limosas plus c300 islandicas, 7 Greenshank, Common Sands and LRPs...
