The best part is that all of this is not tethered to reality, and they know it; it's all they've got, they are flailing. The last couple of weeks have really seen a shift, and they are really getting very weak. Seems we now go full authoritarian or just keep doing pointless shit for the next year.

I couldn't remember this morning the name of the freakin street that intersects with mine, it is 40 yards from my front door. I took my wife to come to the rescue, and even then, it took her a sec.

100% true, but you left one thing out: Riley and her ilk are mediocre. Mediocre intelligence and accomplishment, and this should be pointed out constantly. Mediocre is what binds all these freaks together, and this is why they traffic in hate, they are simply incapable of rising to anything else.

Trump has spent almost two weeks fighting to not fund SNAP in the courts. Honest question, would you be at all surprised if tomorrow he just refused to fund it? They are arsonists. I want kids fed today, tomorrow and next year - that’s the fight

Here is the thing: if I am held captive and, through some luck, I then have leverage over my captor, I do not give it back for nothing, especially if my captor is a masochist. The courts were doing their job, guardrails were precariously coming into place, and the 8 just gave it up.

Yes, everyone knows to get the outcome you want is to take the leverage you currently have over a group who will not meet you even half way, to then remove that leverage, and they will give you what you want. 10 bucks says when this is all said and done, Trump will dunk on how stupid the Dems were.

But here is the thing: He is wrong in fact, it provided the country who were not really paying attention a wake-up call. Courts did their job, and voters turned out to express their discontent. This has all made the frogs realize we are at a boil. This entire shutdown has weakened Trump greatly.
