The first guitar I was able to buy with my own money from a job was this Epiphone. I got it at Monmouth Music in Red Bank, NJ.

Every once in a while, I remember that I’m an adult and can play my guitar through an amplifier at home. It’s always a shock how much a difference this makes vs practicing unplugged.
As someone who never got into acoustics, I need to be better about hearing what my songs actually sound like.

Hey! I’m still working on finishing this song! But I FINALLY recorded the bass parts, and have moved on to writing the guitars. This is pretty close to what I have in my head.
I need to figure out a few little tweedly tweedly parts, and then I’ll record.
Then it’s on to writing the keyboards!

Today’s Bronx Zoo trip was JUST to do the member-preview of the new World of Darkness that opens later this week. Way too dark for pictures, but I looked fabulous at least.

This time I actually used the focus on the camera haha. Using an actual camera instead of my phone is definitely a learning curve. But I can’t argue with the better quality pictures.
