Exactly.

Exactly. I can't remember Trump being right about anything before but he's right about this. There is so much cheering in the FB comments sections here in Arizona, "take over ALL the other countries," "deport/imprison/kill anyone who says different." They are a cult but also a mob.

Oh, no! Not Sharp Criticism! However will he survive?

The utter absence of any self respect at all with regard to the level of fawning continues to be astonishing.

Merry Christmas, Allison! You deserve ALL the time off, but glad you can get a day, anyway. We sure appreciate you!

Things that also start with "C" -- CRAVEN, COWARDLY, CONTEMPTIBLE, CHICKEN... you'll have to tell us sometime whether selling your soul was worth it.

Complete delusions aside, do you remember how people used to be able to say, yeah, I think she's a good person but, wow, she definitely F'd the pooch on this one? People used to be able to call it like we saw it instead of "Jawohl, mein Herr!"

I miss that.

Gosh, if only this was because she actually was visited by the ghost of Christmas yet to come, instead of by "the writing on the wall says I need to pretend to have a soul -- for a little while, anyway."

Geez, I'm so dull, I initially read that as "support" rather than "report." Woke me right up, though. Reported.

Most mothers: "Go out there and do your very best to be a good, kind, thoughtful person."
Mrs. Silver: "Whatevs, kid, but be sure to get in everybody's face about it, that's what's important."

He had a stroke. One effect of the mental impact, for him, was to make him vulnerable to external pressure, not dissimilar to other mentally handicapped individuals. Someone has discovered this and is exploiting it. In effect, he is not responsible, which makes it no less devastating. SO tragic

I could have frickin' redacted the Encyclopedia Brittanica BY MYSELF by now. These people are SO incompetent!
December 12, 2025 at 3:21 AM
Right? NGL, while I certainly never was envious of my mother's having lived through WW II, I definitely daydreamed about what I would have done on V-E Day; her reminisces were so remarkable (especially for one's mother! 😁) But all I have are a playlist and some profile pictures. Dull!

No. I grew up in Iowa and so can definitively state that it is not. Or, ah, my friend can.

Buzz! You could not go 0.00001 seconds without seeing an automobile, most likely going the wrong way at high speed, if 'twere Phoenix. I believe You were thinking of Sedona.

Nope, sorry, it's definitely despair. I remember complacency and it involved a lot fewer ulcers and less alcohol. And the ability to, at least occasionally, not think -- and have nightmares -- about It.
