Thank you so much for highlighting the benefits of open space at the waterfront! Currently the space draws so much wonderful community benefit, and if we essentially sell it off for some temporary gains, that’s gone forever. I hope we can all rally around keeping that space open and accessible 🤞🏻

This sounds right out of a landlord’s or builder’s playbook. We have plenty of supply, but if it doesn’t rent at the desired rate, it stays vacant and is a tax write off “loss” in a landlord’s portfolio. It’s absolutely a greed problem.
