Caliban’s War is doing well on former and better on the latter; tone deaf commentary on the bodies of female characters still lingers at times.

2- The female characters. When they’re given any agency to carry part of the plot, it seems like it’s co-primarily to motivate the male characters.

I once worked somewhere that did this with office supplies, it was great. You could find all sorts of interesting odds & ends in the sorting room!

The second season wasn’t as wonderful overall, but damn if SZ/Solo doesn’t deliver an amazing performance that makes it worth it. Next season is the second book, which was my favorite of the three, so I am excited to see it!
