the dark colour, if anything, obscures her body shape more than it reveals it. it gives her a distinct silhouette which very much imposes itself on the space around her, but does not make a spectacle of her body

yes, she has the long red nails and bold lipstick – classic features of a femme fatale – but her dresses are not actually very revealing. they cover almost all of her body except for hands and neck, and though slim in cut, are not skin-tight
