In terms of leadership communication effectiveness, not all speaker gestures are created equal. "Illlustrator" gestures are more persuasive than "Highlighter" gestures.

Back when I was living in the tri-state area, McGreevey was a real up-and-comer, like a ‘boy wonder’ type. He became America’s first openly gay governor but later had to resign owing to scandals. It’s rare to see redemptive political comeback attempts more than 20 years later.

This map shows the course of the doomed freighter when it went down in November 1975. The northern coast of Lake Superior is a beautiful, rugged and remote region.
