Your painful experience is true and you were fucked over by the CDCs Covid response. At the same time, the CDC being razed to the ground is a bad thing for all of us, and in many ways especially for disabled people. There will be no vacuum left over, public health resources will just be gone.

I hear you but it's two separate issues. Info shouldn't be destroyed because it's misused or misinterpreted. Starting from scratch is not a realistic strategy for any aspect of society much less public health
