Monitor Millworks in Oregon uses cast iron machines from late 19th and early 20th centuty to make doors, windows and trim for vintage homes, churches and public buildings. Most amazing thing I have seen in my #woodworking journey.

We live on twenty steep acres overlooking the Columbia River. When ever land is logged the red alder goes crazy. It fixes nitrogen in the soil helping the fir and cedar to create a mature forest. We burn about 5 cord a year to help heat the house.

Here is a free library cabinet I built for the porch of Grays River Grange (WA). Krist Novoselic (Nirvana) gave me an antique window and the rest is 2x4s and plywood. At that time Krist was the leader of the grange.

Nice, I’m just finishing this bed up in the Greene & Greene style. I saw the original design in a mag. I made it a king platform bed. You thing is above my pay grade. Regards
