Does anyone honestly think that the “first couple” is going to dance together in this ballroom?

So, the orange julius has a leg vein issue, and the White House says he is taking it “in stride.”

Is it just me, or is finding this funny kind of like appreciating the last leaf on a tree before winter arriving?

The core agenda for the diktat is the anti-woke ideology. Move Christian (preferably pre-Vatican 2, Catholic) White males into all positions of authority. Undo voting, employment, and other “equal” rights, and rule with impunity. All else is distraction and collateral damage.

I’m tired of major media and the guests they go to, pretending that tariffs are the outstanding reason so many Canadians are boycotting the US. It’s fear to cross the border; it’s anger at the misogyny, racism and xenophobia; it’s despair at what the GOP have wrought on the global American dream.

The demolition of the US as a cultural beacon and shaper of global trends is 6 months old. The longer this goes on, the greater the disappearance of US cultural hegemony. What comes next? Which culture or cultures will fill the vacuum? What physical standards of beauty will take over?

Make Canada's voting system fair and proportional!
Canadians are tired of our broken voting system. After Trudeau broke his promise of reforming our electoral system in 2015, apathy and cynicism towards our democracy has grown. If Canada is to weath...

Looks like Danielle Smith’s acolytes are frantically ramping up their rhetoric and protests before Carney has a chance to make them an offer where everyone wins.

“If we secede quick enough we might get that payment from Putin into the bank!”

To Marc Carney: regarding a coast to coast to coast climate-proofed rail system for Canada.

Relief that Jed Bartlett has been elected in Canada, but pretty freaked out by how awful is the direction of the Pirate King administration. Jed’s a smart guy with a good moral compass, but he’s holding a poisoned chalice. How do we keep the US tsunami from engulfing us?

The patriarchy is really pissed off. What we are seeing with the money behind Poilievre, the Pirate King and his cronies in the US, and the rise of the authoritarian regimes around the world - is male dominance threatened. They will sink liberalism’s ship of state before they give it up.

There are an increasing number of deportations occurring in the US, where peoples lives are forfeit if they are returned to their Home country.

Is it possible to step up the mutual agreements between nations, so that a third country is in place to receive, at the moment this is needed?

Project 2025 is chugging along in the background, hidden behind the headlines.

The long-term implications of dismantling consumer protection, environmental protection, federal assistance in disasters and so much more, are all hidden behind the headlines.

Soon, Americans will be on their own.

The shortage of employees can be partially resolved through creative employment of seniors. Most seniors do not want to work full-time, but if the first $30,000 was tax-free, and there were more government incentives for employers to employ seniors part time, more seniors would likely stay working.

How could Canadian Conservative Party members, in good conscience, stand behind a man who refuses to get a security clearance?

What kind of game show is this?

There has been so much attention on political and legal chaos, that the disintegration of human rights has barely gotten a comment.

Even if all tariffs are somehow magically disappeared, the safety of citizens and residents has been undermined for the next decade.

The US social revolution seems to be that anyone who’s not White has a good chance of being deported or imprisoned. if you’re White, you better tick a few traditional boxes yourself.

The economic revolution is leading towards a fully isolationist USA, struggling to provide food on its tables, and few adequate transportation/ utility options for it’s citizens.

The political revolution is the world of dark MAGA, with crazy experimentation, for who gets to be in charge.
