that's on editorial, not on me, so no idea. that said, I think people took it as more of an organised series than what it probably was- they probably just meant it as a general "we want to do more character-focused one-shots", and I see no reason why that can't happen

also since I've seen a couple mentions of this- I got paid for the work I did in this, don't worry
I'd assume kiel did too, though wouldn't want to speak for him

so the comic would by virtue of these characters being here inherently change style
like going from a nice watercolour midsommar murders setting to punch punch forever
so if the other character hadn't killed the priest, the art style wouldn't have changed etc

but then to investigate the killing comes a middle aged woman detective from the city who's done with everyone's shit
and then other detectives she knows arrive too
and they're all a mix of @herny.bsky.social and @speedoru.bsky.social and gerph and just a general "cartoony NG anime porn" art style
