“These policies undermine what Arizona voters clearly stated they want and push essential health care further out of reach for those already experiencing medical discrimination.”

All patients, regardless of immigration status, have a right to access healthcare services without fear of consequences such as immigration action and potential deportation. Let’s show solidarity for our immigrant neighbors and ensure EVERYONE has equal access to healthcare.

Collecting data on immigration status will discourage undocumented individuals from seeking healthcare for fear of deportation for themselves and their families. ❌

❌SB1586❌

❌This would create personal liability for providers who provide gender-affirming care (GAC) to youth and make it nearly impossible for providers to provide GAC by drastically increasing medical malpractice rates as well as personal risk.
February 14, 2025 at 10:22 PM
❌HB2681❌would create additional testing requirements before a medical professional can provide abortion care.

❌These tests are unnecessary; abortion care is safe and effective. Medical care should be left between a person and their provider, and not dictated by politicians.

❌HB2547 would single out and stigmatize abortion providers and any organization even remotely involved with abortion – including those providing or referring for life saving abortion care.

Anti-abortion politicians already deny state funding to health care providers who offer abortion services.
February 14, 2025 at 9:49 PM
❌HB2547 denies access to critical reproductive health care, broadening Arizona’s current prohibition on using public funds for abortion care.

It would deny Arizonans access to care that is critical to ensuring they are able to care for themselves and make decisions about their reproductive futures.
February 14, 2025 at 9:49 PM
Arizonans deserve comprehensive reproductive health care, not an ideological agenda pushed on vulnerable people with state funds.

❌HB2216❌ would result in taxpayer money being used to fund Crisis Pregnancy Centers, or CPCs, that use misleading information to mislead, coerce, and intimidate pregnant people.
January 31, 2025 at 10:00 PM
❌HB2216❌ would provide a state grant program for nonprofits that provide “pregnancy support services” that “encourage childbirth instead of the voluntary termination of pregnancy.”

❌SB1090❌ restricting minors’ access to materials in public libraries could also restrict the availability of materials to any patron of a public library, thereby limiting access to this information to everybody. (2/2)
January 24, 2025 at 10:55 PM
❌SB1090❌ would prohibit any public library from facilitating a minor’s access to “sexually explicit material”. This bill would limit minor’s access to information, including sex education materials, as well as art, literature, and other important materials available at every public library. (1/2)

❌SB1003❌ prohibits transgender students from using bathrooms and other facilities that align with their gender identities. Both, SB1002 and SB1003 target transgender students, risk outing them to parents before they’re ready, and prevent them from having safe and inclusive school environments.
January 24, 2025 at 10:55 PM
❌SB1002❌ prevents school staff members from honoring a student’s request to use a different name or pronoun without parental permission, and allows school staff to refrain from using a student’s proper name and pronouns.
