This summer, I was at our high school reunion and telling Nikki Fannin Gorla that I remembered her birthday and her high school phone number.

And I did. But I didn't put together that that day, the day of the high school reunion, was on her 38th birthday.

Oh, nice! I had no idea! We have a friend who breeds geckos and goes to reptile shows at least monthly. I originally got into the idea of a bioactive terrarium specifically to build it for a gecko, but then realized that geckos are quite the commitment (15 yrs!). So now it's just about the plants.

Only the creepy crawly kind to keep the mold and decay in check, springtails and dwarf white isopods.
