As schools push toward #AI adoption since it's The New Hotness, there's always risk, especially with strategies that are mandated without appropriate scaffolding and/or foundational support.

I remember this. Back in the early '00s, after the first several deployed PCs failed, all with similar symptoms, we dug in and saw the bad capacitors (and in some cases, heard them). While we could return many mobos under warranty, the maker soon ran out.

The dystopia bots are crawling public school websites for hurt-their-feelings keywords related to DEI as a threat to withhold federal funding. They're also looking for coded substitute words. This is the behavior of fragile, privileged egos who aren't fit to lead.

Ultimately, funding drives #education quality. Yet the bitter irony is that some of those most in jeopardy are communities who've been fed the lies about public ed. & vote against their own self-interest (rural communities).
