While this's just the developers' intention, they seem to be making an effort to include favorites.

Which character would you most like to see in the game?

"We already have a 2nd and 3rd season planned, and we are preparing to add characters continuously. There are many popular characters in the Fatal Fury series, and we want to include most of them, so we are working on that and developing that cast right now", said the SNK producer.

Producer Yasuyuki Oda was accompanied by SNK's Western representative Krispy Kaiser (KK).

KK said that the game was meant to be the definitive Fatal Fury experience, and while he initially said that "all" of the old characters would be returning, he quickly corrected that to "possibly."
