I thought the liberals were supposed to be patronizing but the teacher-like lectures going on today about why #tariffs are going to save America (complete with props) by taking us back ~120 years is pretty condescending.

@aoc.bsky.social why are we blaming Sanate Dems when it was Mike Johnson and John Thune who basically handed over their authority to the WH? They are the ones who couldn’t pass a budget until Trump told them how: hold a knife to Federal employees throats. Civil servants deserve better.
